Mobile Deposit FAQs

Mobile deposit allows you to deposit checks to your account by simply taking a picture of the check through our ChoiceOne app. 

First make sure you endorse the check with both your signature and the phrase "Mobile Deposit". 

Then, go into the "Deposits" option in the mobile app. From there you will be prompted to enter in the dollar amount of the check, as well as take a picture of the front and back of the check. Form there, your check will be processed. 

The first time you use mobile deposit. The Bank will approve the request before a deposit can be made. 

Mobile deposits received before 5 p.m. EST will be processed the same business day. If a deposit is received before 7 p.m. and does not require a review it may be deposited the same day. Deposits received after 7 p.m. EST will be processed the next business day. Mobile deposits are available Monday-Friday, excluding Federal Holidays. You will be able to view the deposit in your account at the end of the business day on which the deposit is processed.

No fee for personal accounts with mobile deposit. 

Endorse checks with a signature and the phrase, “Mobile Deposit.”
