Meet Steve DeVolder - Steve joined ChoiceOne in 2018 and has over 38 years of experience in banking and finance. Most recent to his current position, Steve worked at a national bank as Vice President, Trust Officer in Southeast Michigan for 16 years. He also has worked as a Commercial Loan Relationship Officer, Municipal Banking Officer and Mortgage Officer for various banking institutions and as a licensed Financial Advisor for a large brokerage firm. Steve has a Master of Science in Finance from Walsh College in Troy and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Wayne State University in Detroit. He also has the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) Designation from The American College of Financial Services (a private online university) and the Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) Designation from American Bankers Association (ABA). As a community volunteer, Steve is a Board member of the Lapeer County K.I.N.D. – Kids in New Directions.
