ChoiceOne Bank is pleased to welcome William (Bill) Bruinsma, Vice President Commercial Loan Officer, Brandon Hayes, Vice President Commercial Loan Officer and Bonnie Potter, Mortgage Loan Officer.

William (Bill) Bruinsma, Vice President Commercial Loan Officer

William joins ChoiceOne with over 30 years in commercial banking. In his most recent position as Senior First Vice President, Middle Market Banking, Bruinsma was responsible for a large commercial loan portfolio while advising clients about Treasury Management, Capital Markets, Retirement Plans, Wealth Management and Private Banking. He is located at the Grand Rapids Metro Loan office, 2221 Health Drive, SW, Suite 1200, Grand Rapids.

Bruinsma has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting both from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Active in his community, Bruinsma serves on the Boards of Wedgewood Christian Services Foundation and the Kent County Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Bruinsma also has 24 years of coaching experience with adult and youth softball, baseball, AAU and high school basketball.
